2018 Paragliding World Cup - Bright, Australia

The recent Super Final in Colombia is certainly going to be a very hard act to follow. Many congratulations go to 2017 Super Final Champion Michael Sigel who won on a Gin Boomerang 11 with Gin Genie Race 4 harness.

The next World Cup will take place in Bright, Australia from the 18th to 24th of February. It promises to be another great comp for GIN fans to watch.

One of the Australian favourites for this competition is Peter Slade who came 2nd in his first ever World Cup task last year in Serbia and has just won the Australian Corryong Open for the second year in a row flying a Boomerang 11.

Manuel Quintanilla is also one of the favourites. He won the first task in the Ecuador World Cup and has just won the 2018 Monarca Open on his Boomerang 11.

Top South Korean and Gin test pilot, Moonseob Lim, will also be flying the GIN flag.

Also taking part, is the new Australian distance record holder, Alex Yaschenko, who flew a staggering 494.19 km on New Year’s Day on a GIN glider.
