2017 PWC Superfinal in Roldanillo,Colombia

The 2017 Paragliding World Cup Super Final is taking place in Roldanillo, Colombia from 9th-20th of January.

The Super Final brings together the top pilots from each round of the World Cup held throughout the year along with the winners of previous Super Finals and the "Legends".

This is going to be one of the highest ranked competitions ever held. 18 previous overall World Cup winners are taking part along with 12 women’s PWC winners.

Amongst the many GIN Geniuses who have qualified for this year’s Super Final are: Aaron Durogati (last year’s champion), and from the Gin R&D team: Idris Birch, Tim Bollinger, Torsten Siegel and Michael Sigel (winner of the 2011 World Cup in Roldanillo).

Gin Seok Song himself will also be competing, celebrating his 40th year as a free flying pilot! Yesterday (Monday) was a free flying day, but most pilots took the opportunity to fly in the Colombian Nationals, which are held until Tuesday. The GIN Team arrived well in Rolda and most of the factory pilots got a brand new Genie Race 4 from the pre-series production. The last few days we spent flying, adjusting our harnesses and playing billiards in the evening.
