The Boomerang Sport is designed for cross country and competition. It is our highest performing glider ever to be certified LTF 2-3: pure high performance, born from our long competition experience, and trimmed by the best competition pilots: Max Jeanpierre, Housi Bollinger, Jimmy Pacher, Kaoru Ogisawa, and of course Jung Seyong and Gin Seok Song himself.

Compared to the level of this kind of wing, the Boomerang Sport is very easy to inflate and offers precise feedback and a compact sensation for the pilot, creating a comfortable, safe and stable feeling.

The Boomerang Sport offers a high aspect ratio (6.2) and a big arc with square tips, following the new trend of Gin Gliders designs including the Boomerang 4. At the same time, compared to the high level of performance, the Boomerang Sport is much easier, more precise and dynamic to handle than a competition wing. The Boomerang Sport is suitable for talented pilots with a few years experience flying LTF 2 or 2-3 gliders.

A minimum of 80 flying hours per year is recommended

to fly the Boomerang Sport safely in all conditions.

GIN Rigifoil
Like our other successful competition gliders, the Boomerang Sport is also equipped with the Rigifoil System patented by GIN Gliders.

GIN Kick Down System
The Boomerang Sport is equipped with a unique acceleration system that offers the pilot increased

feedback through the speed bar pressure. The “Kick-Down System” helps the pilot to be more aware of the incidence of the wing and therefore glide performance. At 50% acceleration there is marked increase in pressure to alert the pilot of his position along the polar curve.

The Boomerang Sport is constructed using the latest Porcher fabrics and Liros lines. We chose Liros thin Dyneema lines for their high performance in terms of stretching, high ratio strength/thickness and longevity.
