The Boomerang 11 development is going according to plan, the latest prototypes show a significant improvement (especially in sinking air) with the same winning speed as the Boomerang 10. We are preparing a few wings for our R&D pilots to fly during the Superfinal in order to collect additional data in real race conditions.
Antoine Girard has been nominated for the National Geographic Adventurer of the Year award for his historic flight over the Broad Peak (8057m) in Pakistan in August with one of our wings: the GTO2.
A new team t-shirt is now available with the popular Aerocool fabric. Fast-drying and lightweight, the fabric also provides good next-to-skin comfort and is suitable for either active outdoor or casual wear. Men's and women's versions are both available now from GIN dealers worldwide.
Our team pilot Nunnapat Puchong from Thailand has just won the 2016 PGAWC Super Final in accuracy in the women's category. The competition was held in Fuyang, China on 30th October. Nunapat trusted in a Bolero 5—congratulations on the victory!
Our popular Safari Pilot and Safari Passenger tandem harnesses have been updated. The pilot harness features a new safety buckle and new side pockets with selfie stick loops. The passenger harness has improved airbag pre-inflation. Both harnesses feature lightweight-but-durable honeycomb fabric which has allowed us to reduce the weight to just 2.6kg for the pilot and 1.7kg for the passenger.
